I worked at an edtech company on a team of five designers that created co-curricular educational products-- as well as workplace/school safety products-- for K12 schools. Each product that we designed has over 100 lessons that are designed for a specific grade or grade bands. We worked through each project using agile methodology and designing in sprints by grade or topic. Each lesson was designed through an iterative development and review process. As designers, we would storyboard and develop the curriculum in Storyline360 and Rise. We would then make adjustments on each lesson based on feedback from internal and external stakeholders. We would also publish and load the lessons into an internal LMS or Docebo.

We used Asana as our project management tool. We were responsible for tracking the progress for each lesson and overall milestones as they related to the design sprints. Our team designed quickly within a fast-paced environment to deliver hundreds of lessons to meet semester-based product launch dates. One of our products even received the EdTech Breakthrough Award for 'Social-Emotional Learning Solution of the Year'. During my tenure, I created dozens of lessons that were celebrated for their interactivity, creativity, and overall visual design.
